    Every year thousands of pets are surrendered, neglected or abandoned by their owners. Animal Welfare League NSW has been caring for these pets for over 50 years. When they turn up on our doorstep with nowhere else to go, we welcome them in, provide them with comfortable shelter and the loving care they need. We also do our very best to find these pets the loving forever homes they deserve. Animal Welfare League NSW operates two animal welfare shelters and a veterinary hospital. We also have a team of Inspectors who are on the ground everyday protecting animals, providing emergency rescue and enforcing the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
